At the beginning of March, Hao Dong traveled to Guangzhou to contribute to the Guangzhou Design Week in different events. As a jury member, he participated in the Sustainable Design Award 2022, commented and attended the award ceremony. 

At the Ideal Architecture Festival 2021, Hao delivered a keynote speech on the topic of architects’ unbuilt projects  (“Me and My Unbuilt”), elaborating on the time that architecture needs to be realized, and the lying potential of unbuilt concepts and ideas, which becomes an essential part of an office’s DNA.
